# About Me

Hey, I’m Jon. I’m a product designer and developer building digital products and experiences. I enjoy growing audiences and brands, and when I’m not shipping code, I’m growing newsletters and communities around things I care about.

I'm all about building products that solve real problems. I spend my days crafting elegant interfaces, shipping code that matters, and writing about turning ideas into businesses that actually work.

Over two decades, I've launched numerous web products, scaled startups, architected complex systems, and led engineering teams. I've seen products go from napkin sketches to acquisition, and I've loved every single minute of this creative journey.

If that sounds like your kind of thing, make sure you [join my weekly newsletter](https://joncphillips.com/newsletter/). This is where I share practical insights from the trenches of product building. Real stories, hard-won lessons, and occasionally controversial takes on what it takes to build products that matter.

Most of all, thank you for reading this far and wanting to know more about me. I truly appreciate it. If you want to say hi, drop me a line [here](https://joncphillips.com/contact/) or on social media.

## Some Additional Nerdery

Besides my passion for product building, I'm a sucker for good, clean, minimalist design. I love typography, particularly the unadorned and legible DIN family of typefaces with their industrial clarity and precision. All the headlines on this site are set in [FF DIN Paneuropean](https://fonts.adobe.com/fonts/ff-din-paneuropean), served through Adobe Fonts.

This site is built on the fantastic [Craft CMS](https://craftcms.com/), uses the [Tailwind](https://tailwindcss.com/) utility-first CSS framework as well as [AlpineJS](https://alpinejs.dev/), is hosted on [Vultr](https://t.joncphillips.com/vultr). I use [Kit](https://t.joncphillips.com/kit) for all my email newsletters.
